Developing Partnership
The Advocacy Club and the CCLA are developing a partnership to promote mutual initiatives. Starting with a kick-off meeting at Mt. Tremblant in November 2016, the Club and CCLA executive agreed to explore how to advance CPD, junior lawyer participation/leadership and collegiality initiatives. This page will identify current initiatives.
January 25, 2017, the CCLA executive and committee chairs met to discuss CPD for the past year and map out a strategy for the future. The Advocacy Club was invited to participate. Stephanie Lewis and Margot Pomerleau attended to present the Club's views on initiatives. The Club will co-present a program with the CCLA, with the proceeds to go to the CCLA Library and Barristers Lounge Renovation project. Stay tuned for this program.
