The Employment Law Symposium will be held August 8-9, 2019, at KPMG Forensic Services offices at 150 Elgin Street #1800 in Ottawa.
Attendees will learn the tools of the trade to succeed in preparing and arguing a motion for summary judgment. this area of law. This course will involve an in-depth look at some of the common tools and resources used to advance your employment law case effectively. In the two-day session participants meet and learn from leaders in the field. They participate in small-group seminars to practice the techniques and receive practical feedback from experts. Participants will use a case study modified from an actual decision, using a forensic accountant’s expert report to examine and cross-examine experts and the parties, and make presentations before an experienced judge.
